NextScout was founded by football recruitment professionals who spent over a decade watching talented players go unnoticed — not because they lacked ability, but because nobody was watching. We built the platform we always wished existed.
Our Story
NextScout was created by a team with deep roots in professional football — former scouts, club directors, coaches and sports technologists who have spent their careers navigating the global talent market at every level, from local academies to top-tier professional competitions.
Over 15 years working in football recruitment, we saw the same problem repeat itself across every country and every level: outstanding players unable to reach their potential simply because the right people never had the chance to see them play. Geography, resources and connections were determining careers — not talent.
NextScout was our answer to that problem. A platform that removes the barriers. That puts every player — regardless of where they come from — in front of the clubs, scouts, academies and universities that can change their life.
2009
Our founders start working in professional football talent identification across Southern Europe and Latin America.
2014
Operations extend to Africa and the Middle East, identifying talent for clubs in the UAE, Qatar, Morocco and Nigeria.
2018
Partnership agreements established with NCAA programs and Australian universities to facilitate athletic scholarships.
2022
We start building NextScout — the digital infrastructure to scale what we had been doing manually for over a decade.
2025
The platform opens to players, clubs and scouts in 80+ countries — with the mission of democratizing football talent discovery worldwide.
